We are looking for an LIS (L or I side) who
1) has experience with distance education / online learning, particularly as an instructor, and

2) will be attending ALISE.

Specifically, Dr. Montague would like someone who could address the design of online learning environments or the assessment of these spaces. Demos are welcome.

Title: Inquiry across time and space

Proposed time slot: Tuesday, January 22, 2013 (10 am – noon)

Abstract: This workshop is open to all interested conference attendees, whether new to online teaching or experienced. Discussion, demonstration, and other activities will be incorporated to explore theory and practice promoting inquiry and developing critical thinking in LIS education. The session will encourage participants to consider several facets of online education including design, community building, and assessment. Presenters include LIS educators from several different schools who teach in a variety of content areas.
